Hara Allison lost her mother from cancer when she was 18 and her mother just 46. Hara’s maternal grandmother also died at 46 and, though irrational, all of her life, Hara feared turning that age. However, that year (2013), the gravity of losing her mom became less pronounced as she started painting- as her mother had and feeling connected to her in a mature, peer-like way with less longing- and Hara also me the love of her life.
